Gustave Eiffel
A work developed in the class “Contexts and Practices of Illustration” in the Graphic Design and Editorial Projects Masters Degree Program at the University of Oporto's School of Fine Arts. This work consists in creating a tribute, departing from the need to create an editorial artifact. It rethinks the multiple possibilities of how to transform a book into a singular object. I decided to create a small tribute to Gustave Eiffel through watercolor and repurposed materials, transforming them into simple pop-up constructions. My ultimate goal is to transform this object into a three-dimensional book.
